Absorbing the input of others, reflecting on lessons learned, aligning talent, and sharing the visions of suggested possibilities.
How do you build strong client relationships
The relationships with a client can be career-lasting and beyond, based on shared communication, reliability, and respect.
How do you balance creativity with a client’s functional needs?
Start with logic. “Form follows function.” Make it unique with a twist of ingenuity and include an unexpected expression to raise the bar.
What’s your approach to handling design challenges and client revisions?
Provide valid optional solutions of which all can stand on their own and be built upon.
The most valuable lesson she has learned in his career:
“Making time to map out a solution, sleep on the answer, and wake up with an improved idea. ”
Can you share a project where the client had a very specific or unusual request? How did you bring it to life?
A high-end residential client with ethnic traditional criteria with which I was not familiar. Understanding the project programming required in-depth research to “get it right.” The client was integral to the solution and creativity. Together we were successful in meeting the challenges required, and exceeding expectations with the solution.
What professional achievement are you most proud of?
Having the privilege of being a career designer and earning the trust and respect by those who have relied on my talents.
What’s a misconception people have about interior design?
“It’s easy.”
What’s a fun fact about you that most people wouldn’t guess?
