A Season of Giving at Mitchell

This year, we proudly participated in Helping Hands by J+J Flooring; a program created to bring joy to children and their families spending their holidays in pediatric hospitals.

Each year, designers and flooring professionals create themed holiday trees that are displayed in hospitals for children to browse and choose from. These trees help brighten their rooms and lift their spirits during a difficult time. The joy on a child’s face when they find the tree that speaks to them is truly heartwarming, and the impact extends to their families, nurses, and hospital staff as well.

We are proud to have contributed two trees this year and to support a program that brings comfort, excitement, and hope to so many children!

Our team with the Santa’s Showstopper Award

Mitchell continues a long-standing tradition by donating holiday gifts to families at the Drueding Center, a supportive housing program serving women and children on their path towards stability.

Mitchell’s ownership has been involved with the Drueding Center for more than 15 years to ensure that every child there receives a gift for Christmas.

Each year, the Center shares individual wish lists, and we purchase gifts based on what the children are hoping for—ensuring they receive something personally meaningful and exciting. Our team comes together to wrap the gifts as a shared volunteer activity of giving back to the community. The wrapped gifts are delivered to the Drueding Center before Christmas so that families receive them in time for the holiday.

We are grateful to support an organization that brings hope, comfort, and a sense of celebration to families who deserve to feel cared for during the holidays.
